This is seventh pattern from the ‘When Granny Weatherwax Knits Socks’ Club

These socks were inspired by King Pteppicymon XXVIII. The subtle cable pattern along the sides of the sock reminds me of the grass which grows under his feet on the Ankh-Morpork pavement when he becomes a deity and the ridged rib in the center is reminiscent of the skin of the sacred crocodiles of the Djel. The socks have a garter stitch toe and a patterned heel !ap.
