Tessa is an easy, quick knit that will show off all of your favorite yarns. It’s simple enough to work on anywhere, and easy to put down or pick up in the middle of a row. Changing stitch patterns create just enough interest to keep you engaged, but keep the project simple enough for when you want something almost mindless.

Wide stripes of stockinette, garter, and textured eyelets knit at a loose gauge create a rich texture landscape that is both simple and charming. The resulting shawl is light, airy, and perfect for guarding against a light breeze or the chill of early morning and evenings spent outside.

Shawl is worked from the top-down from a garter tab cast on, with increases on every right side row at the edges and center spine.
