I’ve had a great reception to these lovely beaded cowls. You may work them with or without beads. The large cowl uses 920 size 6/0 Miyuki glass beads; the small cowl uses 460 size 6/0 Miyuki glass beads. You will hook the beads on with a small steel crochet hook.
The edge may be pulled out to make a scalloped border, or as in the small cowl, left straight for a more casual look. The directions are charted on a large easy to read chart with a 24 stitch repeat and directions on how to read a chart. For the large cowl, I chose a lovely mink yarn from Great Yarns. It’s soooo soft - perfect for snuggling around the neck! The small cowl uses Socks That Rock Lightweight in color “Handsome Man”, a great fingering weight with good stitch definition and wonderful colorways.
