MATERIALS NEEDED
Malabrigo Rios, Worsted – 10 ply, 100% Merino, 210 yards – 192 meters / 100 grams – 400 (480, 540, 600, 880, 1100, 1300, 1550, 1750) yards – 365 (440, 495, 550, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600) meters
US 7 – 4.5 mm circular and double pointed needles
US 6 – 4.0 mm circular and/or double pointed needles
8 stitch markers
1 1 in – 19-25 mm button

Difficulty: Intermediate - The buttonband is shaped and knit along with the rest of the sweater, and then folded in and seamed. Knowledge of raglan construction and shaping would be valuable, although all instructions are written out clearly in the pattern. Buttonhole or blanket stitch is used to seam together the double layered buttonhole.
