Pattern
The Arrow Sweater is designed to have a positive ease of approx. 10-15 cm / 4-6 inches. The design is knit top down, in the round. You start by knitting the collar in 1x1 ribbing. You can either fold down the collar, or keep it as a high neck, both methods are described in the pattern. The neckline is shaped using German short rows. The sweater is knitted in one piece, and the increases are made on the shoulders, that later will be extended for sleeves. The design on the front of the sweater is knitted according to the chart in your size. Charts for all sizes are attached on the last pages of this pattern. The rest of the body is knit in stockinette stitch. The Arrow Sweater is designed to have a cropped fit but if you prefer it longer, simply knit the body accordingly to the chart once more. The sleeves are knit in the round, either on double pointed needles or with the magic loop technique.
