The Black Dahlia is a stunning crescent shawl worked from the bottom up ending in a delicate lace collar, a feature you just don’t see on these types of shawls.

This will be the perfect little wardrobe addition you’ve been looking for as we head into the holiday season!

Materials:
1 100 gram skein of Wolle’s Color Changing Cotton or 480 yds of fingering weight yarn

Size 8 40” circular needle - this is for the cast on only. It is very important you use this larger needle or you won’t be able to block the lace out when you are finished.

Size 6 40” circular needle to work the pattern in. Substituting a smaller needle will result in a smaller shawl.

Markers… lots of markers!

The bottom (lace) part of this pattern is written and charted. The remainder of the pattern is written ONLY

The shawl measures:
36 inches along the top edge (the part that folds over to make the collar)
54 inches along the lacy bottom edge
and 17 inches down the center spine
