Made using a lighter weight yarn this hat is perfect for in between seasons when it’s too hot for a winter hat but too cold to go without a hat. The combination of stitches used creates an open fabric and allows for stretching. This hat is meant to hit just below the ears for a slightly slouchy fit. Instructions are provided so you can make a slouchier or more fit hat.

Sizes and yarn amt needed:
Toddler: fits 16”-18” head size
Child: fits 18”-20” head size
Tween: fits 20”-22” head size
Small/medium adult: fits 21”-23” head size
Large adult: fits 22”-24” head size

Supplies:
-G/4.25mm crochet hook
-#3 dk weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Mandala yarn. 202 yards-529 yards of yarn needed.
-scissors
-needle for sewing in ends
-stitch markers
