Struck with the nifty idea of writing a Hat pattern that would fit on one side of a business card, I set about doing some maths and creating a quick pattern. Not the easiest task; you’d be surprised how wordy even the most basic of patterns can be. But I ploughed on, and it’s done. It had to be a simple Hat - there wasn’t space for anything else - but it’s fun and a bit quirky and perfect.

This business card pattern was available free from any of the destinations on my UK tour!

Materials:
83 (110, 146, 183, 220)yds/75 (100, 133, 167, 200)m light Aran or worsted weight yarn
Set 4mm DPNs or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker

Gauge:
18sts x 38rows to 10cm/4” in garter stitch

Sizes:
To fit: 14 (16, 18, 20, 22) in, 35.5 (40.5, 45.75, 51, 55.75) cm
Finished size: 12 (14, 16, 18, 20) in, 30.5 (35.5, 40.5, 45.75, 51) cm
