This pattern is great for confident beginners. It uses single crochet and slip stitches - very basic stitches.

You need 2 skeins of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton yarn to complete this purse.

This pattern is worked sideways. It is then folded and the sides were seamed together before adding the flap.

At the end of each row, the stitch count is given in parenthesis.

This pattern is customizable to the size you may want. You can make it smaller or bigger by adding or deducting the number of the starting or foundation chains. Make sure that you end up with an even number of sts for the foundation of the Flap pattern.

Photo tutorials were included for a better understanding of the instructions.

The Cerulean Purse has a detachable strap. This way, you can have the option of using it as a sling bag or just a clutch. You can also crochet your own strap or just buy a shoulder strap. The choice is yours!

I hope that you like this pattern!

Happy crocheting!
