When viewed straight on, this garment looks like a very basic pullover, but turn just slightly and its secret is revealed. The unusual side panels create subtle shaping in the torso at the high waist level. The shirttail hem is created with short rows that do not require wraps. A simple textured stitch pattern keeps the knitting interesting but not too complex. It’s knit flat with bottom-up construction. The neckband is picked up and worked in the round after the shoulders are joined.
