This crochet pattern will give you 4 Bears :

Papa and Mama Bear are 10.16 cm. Approximately 4 inches tall
Junior is 7.62 cm. Approximately 3 inches tall
Baby Bear is 3.81 cm. Approximately 1.5 inches tall

You will need to know the following to make the Bears:

magic circle or adjustable loop
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
3sc = 1sc 3 times into one stitch
2tog = 2 stitches together
sl st = slip stitch
f/o = finish off

In addition to knowing the stitches above, you will need to know the following to make the clothing:

dc = double crochet
2dc = 2 double crochets in one stitch
hdc = half double crochet
2hdc = 2 half double crochets in one stitch
BLO = crochet in the back loops only
FLO = crochet in the front loops only
ch1 = chain 1

Materials used to make the Bears:

sport weight yarn #2
2.55 mm hook (USA)
4.5 mm black safety eyes (optional for all Bears except the Baby)
9mm safety nose for Papa Bear (optional)
sport weight yarn #2 black for Mama and Junior’s nose
large sewing needle with eyelet just big enough for the sport weight yarn to go through
regular sewing needle and black sewing thread for Baby Bear’s eyes and nose

Materials used to make the Clothing:

crochet thread #10
1.50 mm hook (USA)
small sewing needle to weave ends in

The hats and apron are removable, the dresses and Junior’s shirt are crocheted right onto the body! Papa’s vest is made in 3 easy pieces!
