This little cowl will keep you warm without pomp or circumstance. The design is simple enough to show off your favorite yarn or a special set of buttons.

This is one of the first patterns I ever wrote. It has not been tested or tech edited, though I did use it to (successfully) teach a class so I believe it to be error free. That being said, if you run into any problems I am happy to provide pattern support.

A note on the length of this cowl: The pattern instructs you to knit until it measures 13 inches from the border. This assumes a few things: you will block your cowl to get additional length when you are done and you want a cowl that is relatively close fitting. I understand this is not the case for most people. A good method would be “knit until your cowl is 1 inch shy of your desired length”.
