Texture, texture texture mixed with comfort, modern lines and a fabulous indie-dyed yarn come together for this wonderful every-day pullover, THE REACH. Inspired by the island in Maine where I summer and the water that I spend most of my summer looking out at, THE REACH is an easy fitting pullover with interesting hemline (longer in back than in front), a v-neck collar, modified drop sleeve and set in pockets. The type of sweater that you simply want to live in!

And what makes THE REACH really special for me is that it is knit in Viola’s newest DK yarn, Moorseburg DK, which she developed to celebrate the opening of her new workspace and home in Moorseburg Ontario. I have followed Viola since I picked up a skein of her fingering merino in her exclusive Loop London color way. When she launched her new DK, I could not resist! The color that I chose, Dew Drop, reminded me so much of the colors in the water in front of our house in Maine, that I named the sweater after it: THE REACH! Take a close look at the photos so that you can see the lavender and pollen colored flecks. The dying is truly extraordinary!
