Designed by myself, this warm cowl is part of a series of cowls I’m doing inspired by New York, my home state. They are designed to be comfortable, fun to knit, and perfect to wear with a stylish wool coat or a denim jacket. This particular cowl is knit with super bulky yarn, making it a very satisfying “quick knit”. Thick, luxurious texture… easy enough for beginners!

The Southampton Cowl was named after the gorgeous birthplace of Jacqueline Kennedy, located on the southern shore of Long Island, NY. Storms rolling in off of the Atlantic make this winter destination very windy and brutally cold. This cowl will help keep you warm no matter where you spend your chilly months.

Suggested yarns: Super Bulky

Needles: Size 13 (9mm)
