Wandering through labyrinths of rocks formations or books, “The Stacks” will mark your path in your stitches. Academic from the start, this design knows the importance of breaking from book learning to explore the great outdoors. Whether a beginner on the needles, or well-studied in yarn wrangling, this no-shaping rectangular shawl design packs a visual punch of knitting interest.

This easy level tech edited design is fully written and charted.

Finished Measurements:
84”/ 213.5cm long (with fringe) by 14.5”/ 37cm wide.

Materials:
5 skeins Eco-Stitch Sport, shown in Anchor
Single skein info: hand dyed 100% linen Sport; 268yds/ 245m per 100g/ 3.53oz
US 7/ 4.5mm needles
2 stitch markers
Yarn needle
Optional: scissors, 432 Japanese glass seed beads size 6/0 & beading crochet hook.

Gauge:
19 sts and 23 rows over 4”/ 10cm in Stockinette stitch. Note: exact gauge is not critical to this design. Gauge variations may impact final size and yardage requirements.

Special Notes:
• Track It: Yarn conservative ~ order 5 skeins. Break 2 skeins into 5 mini- skeins for the 5 sections of double stranding. Use the remainder full skeins for both the single and double stranded sections. If you run short, break the final skein up as needed. Yarn extravagant ~ order 6 skeins (results in over a skein worth of leftovers). Use an individual skein for each of the double stranding sections and alternate which skein is carried into the single stranding sections. This method, worked correctly, results in no cutting nor creating mini-skeins!
