Levnadslust, meaning ”joy of living” in Swedish, was a mystery knit-along during the summer of 2013. It is worked flat throughout and still manages to be completely seamless. Open your eyes to the lovely feeling of loose knit garter stitch, and enjoy an all-knit garment with not a single purl stitch in sight!

Levnadslust is a summer top to cover up chilly necklines and shoulders, or to shield from the sun on the extra hot days! With a slightly different shape it flatters the bustline and the often neglected sideways profile of the body, and gives a great opportunity to show off some lovely yarn!

Want to cover up your backside instead? Turn the whole thing around and wear it with the opening toward the front – tastefully emphasizing your female parts, and getting a lovely soft drape across the back.

FINALLY, there is an option for lovely sock yarn besides socks and shawls.

the classic/twist wardrobe item girls need. They extend what we already have for the cost of a skein of yarn!

I love this design! It’ll be excellent breastfeeding-garment too, protecting breast from chilly wind and giving some privacy while breastfeeding!

I had every intention of ripping it out last night when I finished the knitting and tried it on… But what witchcraft is this?!? I wet the piece and hung it on a hanger and it literally BLOSSOMED in front of me.
