Themes and Variations pays homage to Balanchine’s ballet of the same name. It plays with simple stitches, that when knit together, present a challenge for you to master in a few practice steps. Knitting through the most basic of stitches, with a slight variation, creates a masterpiece of elegance. This variation delicately pairs a Speckled and a Solid color, which together create a cable that looks like it is moving across the piece.
