Do you need a break from your more difficult projects? Life too complicated to knit complicated patterns? Gauge got you down because your stitches aren’t uniform? Do you have cashmere taste but live on an acrylic budget? If any of these situations apply, you just may need some Therapy!

Therapy Scarf is a fun and fast knit. It’s simple, but you will learn from the interesting challenge to make your stitches uniform in tension so that the loopy fringe lines up. (And, it would be a great project to try before tackling more advanced yarn pooling patterns!) The Fleurettes yarn cost is very low, especially if you use coupons at your local craft store.

Bernat Fleurettes yarn is unique in that there are straight and loopy sections. For about 29”, the yarn is relatively straight. This is followed by about 2.75” of loopy yarn. Therapy Scarf is knitted so that the loopy sections all fall in a line, one above the other, every other row. This creates a fringed look on one edge of your scarf.
