Taking inspiration from the play within a play; the story of Pyramus and Thisbe, this shawl is a shawl within a shawl and starts with a textured crescent shape. The style of increases then change to create dramatic points and a smooth fabric before ending with an optional ruffle at the edge. Knit in worsted or aran weight yarn it creates a big hug of a shawl.

I just love the simple body stitch on this and I can see me using this yarn again too - dream to knit with and toasty on the knees!

It should be noted that the stitch pattern on this shawl would suit a solid colour rather than a variegated. I found that the pattern got a little lost in even this small amount of variegation.
