This is a pattern for a light weight wrap that’s knit out of fingering weight yarn. It’s heavier than a lace weight shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening. It’s even wonderful in the summer, if you’re sensitive to air conditioning. It knits up very quickly and would make the ideal gift, for yourself of someone that’s special to you. It is made up of two different lace stitches, both of which are written out line by line and are also charted. The final size is 22 1/2 inches by 72 inches, but can easily be adjusted to either larger or smaller. There are instructions for an optional edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Shalimar’s Breathless yarn, in colorway Thistle, which is a joy to knit with.
