This pattern is for a tiny decorative witch or wizard hat. It could be used as a Halloween decoration around the home or sewn onto a headband to be worn.
The approximate size of the hat is 5 ¾” wide x 5 ¾” tall, however since this is not a pattern with sizes, gauge is really of no importance, you could use any hook size and come up with different sized hats.
The pattern includes a pattern for a small star applique and a large star applique. Size E hook is used for the appliques.
The pattern is worked using two strands of worsted weight yarn, held together. It uses significantly less than one skein of yarn. You could even substitute one strand of bulky yarn for the two strands of ww yarn.
