Tiscornia Park is a photogenic spot on the north side of the St. Joseph River, and many visitors like to cool off at its pristine Lake Michigan beach. St. Joseph’s North Pier Lighthouse is accessible from the pier that runs along the edge of the park. The pier is a favorite spot for fishing on the St. Joseph River.

This shawl’s creation can be attributed to a customer who mentioned that she likes triangle shawls, but doesn’t like how deep they are or how short the wrap points are. Therefore this shawl is much shallower than a normal triangle shawl but is also wider giving the wearer the ability to wear it in a number of different ways. Starting with a easy to memorize garter stitch base which gives way to an equally easy 4 stitch lace repeat then ending with a garter stitch boarder, Tiscornia Park shawl is stunning in its simplicity.
