This Dolman Sleeve style sweater works great alone or over a turtleneck for added warmth during cold winter months. It is designed to fit just above the hips and cling to the body up the torso to where the shaping for the sleeves begins.

The front and back pieces are knit flat and seamed to finish the garment.

The horizontal stripes are created using knit rows and purl rows. Because of the nature of this type of knit fabric, the bodice and yoke area need to be blocked to reach their full measurement length. The piece will not be able to be measured correctly until it is being blocked, therefore, numbers of rows are given in the instructions rather than measurements for each section.
