The rows of holes in the shawl reminded me of gun shot holes. I’m a huge Noir film/gangster movie fan so decided to name it after the Tommy Gun. ;)

The shawl is made from one skein of Dream in Color Smooshy yarn. Dream in Color has so many amazing colorways to choose from! The shade Dusky Aurora was used to make the shawl in the photos.

The shawl is worked entirely in Garter stitch with rows upon rows of eyelets which give it a mesh appearance. It’s a relatively easy pattern to tackle and one that highlights hand dyed or handpainted yarns such as Smooshy.
