This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Patti-Ann Williamson.

This vest has an unusual construction: instead of a shaped rectangle, the back piece is a trapezoid, and the front pieces are identical to each other, giving a “waterfall” effect at the front. It is available in 3 sizes and is knit in worsted-weight yarn. The back and fronts are knit separately and seamed together after blocking, and all pieces are knit from the top down. Included in the pattern are detailed schematics of how the piece is constructed (as it is not intuitive during knitting), with blocked measurements. There are also full instructions for how to do the crochet cast on.
