Worked from the top down in a shallow triangle shape, Tossing Pebbles features widely spaced rows of Feather and Fan lace, creating the delicate effect of ripples in a still pond. It’s also the companion piece to the Tossing Pebbles cardigan.

Like most of my shawls, it can be made in any yarn weight, so whether you find the perfect sock yarn that’s too beautiful to wear on your feet, or 500 yds of worsted weight (or anything in between!), this is the perfect shawl.

The shallow triangle shape helps it lay on your shoulders just right if you wear it with the point in back, and if you wear it with the point in front, the tails are long enough to keep it from falling off.
