Doubled heavy laceweight yarn means not only extra softness, drape, and warmth, but the opportunity to gradiate yarn colors in a very subtle manner. This design combines lace, beads, and gradient colorwork within a long, fitted cowl that can also serve as a wimple. Cowl is in three sizes (shown in size medium); matching cuffs are in two sizes (shown in size small/medium). Beads are placed using the add-as-you-go crochet hook method.

Note that yardage stated is for cowl ONLY and is total yardage for all colors. Cuffs require an additional 310 (375) yards of lace weight yarn.

Bead requirements: 342 (360, 396) size 6/0 beads for cowl; 54 beads for pair of cuffs.
