A half hank of the Mountain Colors’ wool crepe will make the small and a full hank, the large. You also need one US 8 (5 mm) circular needle at least 24” long and one size G/6 (4.5 mm) or H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook (optional). Shawl is knit with a single strand of the wool crepe yarn.

From the book, “This is an infinitely wearable shawl. Finished with an optional reverse single crochet edge, the shawl is light and clings nicely to the shoulders. It is stretchy enough to tie in front and wear all day, and soft enough to scrunch up around your neck inside your coat.”
