This shawl is the combination of at least three different
shawl concepts. The overall look is most heavily
influenced by Jane Sowerby’s Ruffled Fichu; its
construction is also influenced by a combination of
Zeitgeist Yarns’ Silk Kerchief and Lily Chin’s Mock
Faroese Shawl. I have frankenstien-ed the construction,
texture, striping, and edging of these three concepts into a figure flattering ruffled fluff of warmth and elegance.

Materials: 250 yds of fingering or DK weight yarn (A),
460 yds of lace weight mohair (B)
Supplies: 47” US6 circular needle; optional: you may
choose to start your shawl on a shorter circular and
change to the 47” needle when your shawl has grown some.

Designer Note: Please notice that this is a different construction than the piece that it resembles most greatly and I deeply believe in giving credit where credit is due! Thank you for taking a look.
