Triermain is named after a poem by Sir Walter Scott about a knight seeking to rescue a maiden in a deep enchanted sleep.
This slouchy hat and generously-sized scarf feature a Celtic cable and can be worn by either a man or a woman.

4 balls Juniper Moon Farm Marlowe Jeweltones in color #108 Maple Leaf
Note: Scarf and hat can be made with 5 balls

NEEDLES
US 9 (5.5 mm) long circular needle for working flat, or size used to obtain gauge

GAUGE
16 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st in the round and knit flat.
21 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in cable patt.
