This two-color double-sided pot holder is approximately 7” square.

The pot holder is created in one piece working back and forth in stockinette stitch and folded in half. Provisional cast on is used so that stitches can be grafted together without leaving a seam. Work begins at lower back so that grafting occurs in lower back border rows. Two rows are worked in reverse stockinette stitch (purl on right side) to accommodate folding. Pot holder is finished by seaming the front and back sides together and adding a crocheted loop in the upper left corner.

This pattern is best suited for knitters experienced in double-stranded color work, seaming, and basic crochet.

You can make two pot holders with the two skeins of Skinny Cotton. Each pot holder requires about 27g/65y/57m MC and 21g/39y/43m CC.
