MATERIALS
Needles:

3,5mm/US 4 circular needles 16” or DPNs for tubular cast on / tubular rib
4mm/US 6 circular needles 16” or DPNs for rib
5mm/US 8 circular needles 16” for body and DPNs for crown
OR SIZE TO OBTAIN THE GAUGE
You can use 40” or longer circulars and magic loop method, if you prefer.
Sizes and options:
Each size can be made with double hem and lining or with tubular cast on hem and without lining; Instructions for each size are given in the following sequence: child/beanie/slouch, if there is only one number it is for all sizes.
Yarn suggestions:
Malabrigo Merino Worsted (100% merino, 210 yards, 100gr), 1 hank;
(optional, if you make double hem with lining) Piura by Filitaly-Lab (65% alpaca, 25% nylon, 10% merino), 1 skein (however, you will need only about 20 grams of yarn);
Dimensions:
Hats fit: size child: 48-52cm; size beanie 52-56cm, size slouch 57-59 cm;
The length of the finished hat laying flat, measures: child/beanie and slouch 10.25” (26cm),
Circumference: child/beanie 17.75ʺ (43cm)/slouch 18.5”(47 cm);

Gauge:
4ʺx 4ʺ is 19 sts and 24 rounds over textured panel, using US 8 needles, slightly blocked.

Miscellaneous:
1 marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn;
NOTES: the hat is designed in 3 sizes and is worked from hem to crown.
