When I finished knitting the pullover version of Tundra and
tried it on, the very first thing that came to mind for me was
that it needed thumbholes in the cuffs of the sleeves. The
Tundra Cardi was born from that very thought, and I knew
I’d be making another version of this sweater to include the
thumbholes—and why not make it into a cardigan?

Also, see the matching fingerless mitts, Tundra Mitts.
