A soft and cozy tunisian crochet throw worked on the bias. For my blanket i used about 5 1/4 skeins of Caron Simply Soft

For the hook I highly reccomend using an extended hook. These are crochet hooks with s flexible cable and stopper coming off the end of the hook. This will allow you to hold more stitches on the hook when working the center portion of the blanket.

I think this works best in a medium tone yarn to better show off the stitches.

The pattern is written and includes detailed photos showing how to create the stitches.

There are 3 download options
1. written standard - This has photos for right handed crocheters
2. written mirror - This has photos for left handed crocheters
3. chart - left hand - This is a left hand chart which is read left to right. If you are right handed you will want to either read it left to right or change your printer settings to print it as a mirror image. The chart does not include the detailed photo instructions to create the stitches so if you need those you will want to get the written instructions as a guide.
