The Turkish coffee pot is my inspiration for these textured gloves. The gloves are worked with a Turkish Stitch and short rows in order to create the hourglass shape of the coffee pot.

The glove design is suitable for an intermediate knitter. The pattern consists of six rows which are repeated and calls for knowledge of knit (k), yarn round needle (yrn), slip one – knit one – pass the slipped stitch over (skp), and short-row shaping . The gloves can be made larger or smaller by adding or subtracting a pattern repeat. In this way the gloves are easily made to fit any size hand/arm.
