 Yarn – worsted weight in two to three colors
 Hook – H (regular) or J (Tunisian) OR size needed to obtain gauge
 Tapestry Needle
 Yarn bobbins (optional)

Abbreviations and stitches required:
 ch: chain
 sc: single crochet
 tss: Tunisian simple stitch
 sl st: slip stitch
