PLEASE DO NOT purchase if you have no imagination and can only work from a pattern that instruct line by line. This pattern is not for you. I do not want to be blamed for the knitters short falls.

I named this Twiggy because it is the skinny version of the triangle shawl scarf. I love the look of a shawl scarf, but hate the bulk and the short ends/tips, therefore I designed one that has less bulk around the shoulders, a lower drape around the neck and long ends for that fabulous dangle. This scarf is slightly asymmetrical and will not be a perfect triangle. This “imperfection” makes for a wonderful drape and flow.

Skill: This pattern is for an experienced beginner and/or intermediate knitter that has some imagination.

NOTE: This pattern is NOT a line by line pattern. The instructions is written for the shaping and you are to use your own imagination/taste to get the colors and striping placement. This is not worked the same as the “traditional” shawl scarves and can be uniquely yours as you will decide the placement of the pattern stitches as well as the type of yarn you use.

I found that by interspersing a row of fine lace weight yarn, you will get the ethereal see-thru, lightweight feel to the scarf.
