About the Design:
This is a great skill-building design, yet is rhythmical to knit and fun to wear!

I knit two samples, one short and one very long. It’s the kind of design that you can just knit until your yarn is used up, if you want to, and not worry about the length.

Cascade Yarns Eco Peruvian wool yarn is used in the long version and Patons Grace is used, double, in the shorter version.

Finished Dimensions:
Short Scarf: 5.5″ wide x 30-34″ long
Long Scarf: 6.5″ wide x 95-100″ long

Yarns:
Short Scarf:
Patons Grace, 100% mercerized cotton, 136 yd / 50 gram skein: 1 skein each #62246 Leaf (MC) and #62244 Wasabi (CC)

Long Scarf:
Cascade Yarns Eco, 100% Peruvian wool, 478 yd / 250 gram hank: 1 hank each #8010 Ecru (MC) and #8015 Natural (CC)

Gauge:
Long Scarf: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in Stockinette with size 10 ndls or size to give gauge.

Short Scarf: 14 sts and 16 rows = 4″ in Stockinette with size 10.5 ndls or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.

Substitute Yarn Weight:
Short Scarf: Sport (used double)
Long Scarf: Worsted to Heavy Worsted

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Happy Knitting!
