The skirt is knitted in a round, starting from the waistband and down. You will begin with knitting the waist band first. Then fold the work together and knit stitches together with the cast-on edge, and then continue on knitting the skirt body.

The instructions are given for both worsted and dk weight yarns.

Light blue skirt is from a dk yarn (size shown is 2-4T)
Striped skirt is from a worsted weight yarn (size shown is 2-4T)

I am making this pattern available in 9 months- 12 months (16-18 inch waist), 1-2 year old (17-19 inch waist), 2-4 year old (20-22 inch waist), 4-6 year old (22-25 inch waist).
