This pattern was designed for Twisted Yarns in Spring, Texas for their Sock Club as the August 2010 sock. I wanted to design cables to represent the way the lives of our friends and families criss-cross and the choices we make. As I was knitting, the poem The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost popped into my head, so I added it at the end of the instructions.

The sock is designed with traveling cables using three stitches each. This makes it a perfect project to practice no-cable-needle cables!

The pattern starts at the cuff, continues through the heel, and then across the instep to the toes. There are charted as well as written instructions for the complete sock.
