Work these cute fingerless mitts up quickly for yourself or your sweetheart! They are straightforward, with easy stranded colorwork. You can work heart designs in duplicate stitch, if you prefer.

Each mitt features seven large hearts encircling the hand and thumb. The Knit Picks Palette yarn is Peruvian Highland Wool, so not super soft, but comes in a HUGE array of colors, is inexpensive, and works beautifullyl for colorwork. You can use any light fingering weight yarn, if you prefer another brand. Try different color combinations for extra fun.

The mitts should fit most 12 year olds through adult sizes. If you use a little larger needle (size US 1.5 or US 2) to get 8.5 - 9 stitches per inch, they should fit an adult man.
