Vector Drift is a fun, entertaining knit of a hat. It is worked using short-row shaping and joined to create the crown of the hat. From which point you knit in the round and form a brim with a fantastic colorwork section that is sure to turn heads… No pun intended, of course!

Size: 22’’ head circumference. Can also be made for smaller head sizes by changing the needle size and/or yarn weight.

Recommended Yarn: Two colors of worsted weight yarn in either a solid, semi-solid, tonal, or lightly variegated color way.

Grey/Red Sample: Dancing Dog Dyeworks in the Waltz Worsted base (100% Superwash Merino) in the Stormy (A) and Radical Red (B) colorways.

Yardage: Color A: 120 yards ; Color B: 40 yards

Needles: Two US size 8/4.5 mm 24” circular needles or one US size 8/4.5 mm 40” circular needle for magic looping.

Gauge: 4 sts to the inch on US size 8/4.5 mm needles in garter stitch

Notions: tapestry needle, scissors
