For Velma I wanted something extra special. I love Velma’s colors which make me think of fall and my favorite time of year. I also love her intelligence. Need an answer? Ask Velma. If she doesn’t know, she finds the answer. I always loved that. So, I wanted a special knit for Velma. This flowing, addictive, fun shrug was perfect. I hope you’ll find it to be only a little bit challenging as you work this shrug from the center out and pick-up “after thought sleeves.” It’s something just a little more intelligent, a little more difficult, and a little more fun.

When making the shrug, you will need a 3rd skein for the 40 inch size.

This pattern is meant for adventurous novice knitters to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 2 skeins, Teresa Ruch Designs 5/2 Tencel, 520 yards, 100% Tencel, color Velma (you will need a third skein for busts over 38 inches)
