ABOUT THE DESIGN:
This blanket was created out of a desire for a blanket design with a bit more of a WOW factor. Incorporating some beautiful lace knitting seemed the perfect way to achieve that.

Three, different stitch patterns are used in this design, which is sure to hold the interest of keen knitters desiring something a bit more challenging to work on. The written instructions ‘talk you through’ the process simply, from beginning to end, & a (reference) chart is included for the stitches involved in the centre lace panel. You can follow the chart as you knit the lace panel, but should do so in connection with the written instructions.

With care, the finished item will remain a most useful blanket, from baby to adulthood (when it makes a very special lap blanket). This blanket is sure to wow anyone you knit it for, & it will truly be a ‘gift that keeps on giving!’
