This pattern was originally published as a part of Twisted’s 2013 Mad About Tosh Club. It is no longer available as a pdf download, but you can get it from Twisted Yarn Shop in Portland, Oregon as a hard copy (http://shop.twistedpdx.com/books-patterns-etc-single-patt...).
This pattern will be included in the new Botanical Knits 2 book by Alana Dakos due out in 2014.
These simple, cozy mitts are graced with a sprouting plant motif decorating the top of the hand. Knit them in the summer to capture within your stitches a little extra bit of warmth and sunlight to ward off autumn’s chill when you need to keep your hands toasty later in the year. You’ll make these again and again just to watch the plant grow as you work.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (cables, thumb).
Size/Finished measurements – Women’s Medium. Width: approximately 7.5”/19 cm around at widest point of hand. Length: 8.5”/21.5 cm.
