Vianne is a small yet cozy triangular shawl knit in super soft baby alpaca. The chunky yarn and easy to memorize stitch pattern make it perfect for last minute gift knitting.

The shawl starts with a garter tab cast on and is worked from the bottom point to the edge of the shawl. The borders of the shawl continue in garter stitch while the main body of the shawl is knit in a form of brioche stitch or fisherman’s rib. The edge is knit in k1, p1 ribbing and finished with a tubular cast off.

The ebook version of this shawl includes a photo tutorial on how to make a shawl pin using a decorative button.
