Vigneto is Italian for vineyard.*

Vigneto Shawl is slightly asymmetrical in shape and design but simple to knit. It is cast on at one wingtip with the striped texture stitch (the rows of grapevines) and ends at the other wingtip with the leafy lace border.  When worn, the rows of grapevines curve becomingly around your shoulders and then sprout into leaves.

Both the striped texture stitch and the lace border pattern may be repeated any number of times making this very easy to adjust in size and in yardage required.

Check my project pages here and here for more guidance on sizing and yardage used in the samples shown.

The stitch patterns are charted only.

Yardage required - 370m (400yd) for sizes shown.
