Viiv means ‘short moment’ in Estonian. The fabric is light and airy.
Easily customizable:
• You can make the scarf longer or shorter. I used the following proportion: increase and decrease section each constitutes a quarter of the length and the straight section constitutes a half.
• You can adjust the width (make more or less increases).
• You can turn it into a more classical triangular shawl: complete the increase section and start the decrease section immediately after that.

Fingering and light fingering weight yarns are suitable, too. If you want a winter version, try mohair or wool, merino, merino-silk blend etc.

The gauge is not important. Experiment with yarns and needle sizes to get the fabric you like.
