These socks are inspired by many pairs I saw in the tourist markets on the streets of Vilnius in Lithuania. The socks are knitted cuff down with a knitted in fringe and colorwork on the cuff. The color pattern can be repeated on the foot or the foot can be knitted plain. I love the simplicity of the heel and toe on these socks and the graphic nature of the colorwork knitted in yarn that is heavier than traditional sock yarn. Just like most of the socks in the market, these are large and will fit most adults as slipper socks or hiking socks inside boots. You can knit them to the desired length, and adjust the size by using smaller needles and/or thinner yarn.
