This beautiful beret is a quick make for an absolutely classic look. A well made beret is always in style! Fits beautifully on the head and the pattern is fun and meditative to make.

Filled with texture, the beret is a radiating beauty of puffs and popcorns in a art deco diamond shape, perfect to amplify the retro vixen in you!

The pattern uses 250 yards of DK/3 weight yarn and G hook. Some lighter weight worsted 4 yarns will work as well, testers used Big Twist with success.

NOW ADDED: Color guidance notes for each of the fruit berets shown. I tell you what colors I used where, what small features I eliminated or added. It is NOT a pattern rewrite for each, rather my notes on how to get the look!

US Terms RATED INTERMEDIATE: You should know how to place stitches correctly, keep count of rounds, use a stitch marker, popcorns, clusters, hdc, slst,and sc are used.
